XIAOMI PINECONE V970 VS SNAPDRAGON 835
From the point of view of the internal architecture of Pinecone V970 is more reminiscent of Kirin 960. Thus, the computer unit it consists of two clusters. So, it has 4 high-performance core ARM Cortex-A73 processor with a clock frequency of up to 2.7 GHz and 4 “thrifty” core ARM Cortex-A53 at up to 2.0 GHz.
3D-graphics “in charge” of the new generation accelerator ARM Mali-G71 MP12 (12 cores) with a frequency of 900 MHz. The processor itself is made on 10-nm process technology. It which ensures high-speed performance and low heat generation.
How can I replace, Pinecone V970 exceeds Kirin 960 for CPU clock frequency and the number of cores. And the graphics accelerator, but inferior to him in the frequency of the latter.
Regarding the comparison with Snapdragon 835, it makes no real test is much more difficult, as is using Qualcomm processor cores and other proprietary GPU.
WHY DO I NEED XIAOMI PINECONE V970?
Probably, Xiaomi has reflected the release of its own mobile processors because of problems with the supply of the same Snapdragon 835 from Qualcomm. Rumor has it that the first batch of the last “standing” bought for Samsung Galaxy S8, so as not to give advantages to competitors.
There is another version, according to which Qualcomm itself does not have time to release a quality product in the promised time. It, therefore, delays the delivery, while the same Mi6 is almost ready to launch into production.
